GULFSTREAM NAMES DALTON ALLEN DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC BUSINESS PURSUITS

SAVANNAH, Ga., October 16, 2008 – Gulfstream Aerospace, a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), has named Dalton Allen director, strategic business pursuits, Government Programs and Sales.

In this new position, Allen will assume a broader role for the Gulfstream Washington, D.C., office by developing the customer and contractor relationships necessary to pursue special mission and other government business opportunities. He will also continue working with members of Government Programs at Gulfstream, Savannah.

Allen’s efforts will complement the Government Program’s New Business Office, which coordinates and manages the resources required for bidding and proposing new worldwide government programs.

Allen joined Gulfstream in 2001 as manager, business development, Government Programs. Before that, he was with Lockheed Martin for 15 years in various technical and management positions, including electronics technician, planner, program manager, marketing manager and business development manager.

Allen served in the U.S. Air Force and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Phoenix.

He reports to Buddy Sams, senior vice president, Government Programs and Sales.
